Management
Department Owners & Permissions
Department access for Empire Academy. By default, the business owner is responsible for each department. As your team grows, you can assign managers or team members to specific areas.
Permissions in this phase help model access and guide workflows. Full enforcement across invited user accounts is planned for a later V2 release.
Still roadmap: invite-based membership, database-level enforcement, comments, approvals, audit logs, notifications, SSO/WorkOS.
Department ownership
No team members added yet. The business owner currently owns all departments. You can invite team members and reassign department owners at any time.

Ownership is about clarity, not enforcement. Role-based access control by department is on the roadmap; for now this drives accountability prompts and the CEO Brief.
Protected departments
Protected departments default to more restrictive access. Owners and Admins still see them; Contributors and Viewers default to none.
Role presets

Permission gaps
No gaps detected. Every department has a manager and no protected department has unexpected broad access.
